SANO PRIVACY POLICY

At Sano (Launch Ops. Inc. DBA Sano), we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information through our website and mobile application.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, IP address, and unique device identifiers.

  • Commercial Information: Purchase history and membership status.

  • Fitness Information: Fitness preferences and attendance records.

  • Geolocation Data: Precise location (if enabled) to find nearby gyms.

  • Internet Activity: Browsing history and interactions with our app/ads.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your data for "Business Purposes," including:

  • Fulfillment: Processing bookings and payments.

  • Personalization: Suggesting classes based on your fitness history.

  • Security: Detecting fraud and protecting our Platform.

  • Agency Operations: Sharing necessary details with the Partner gym where you became a member booked a session.

3. DATA SHARING & "SELLING" DISCLOSURE

Sano does not sell your personal information. By agreeing to this privacy policy, I understand that my name, email, and phone number will be shared with the gyms I access through Sano so they can create my membership. I understand those gyms may contact me as a member and that Sano does not control how they use my information.

4. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know/Access: Request a list of data we have collected about you since January 1, 2022.

  • Right to Delete: Request that we delete your personal information.

  • Right to Correct: Request that we fix inaccurate personal information.

  • Right to Limit: Request that we limit the use of your Sensitive Personal Information (e.g., only using fitness data for class bookings and not for marketing).

5. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC) & OPT-OUTS

Sano honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, our Platform will automatically treat it as a valid request to opt-out of the "sharing" of your data for targeted advertising.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law (e.g., 7 years for financial records). If you close your account, we will de-identify or delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, unless it is needed for ongoing legal or insurance obligations.

7. SECURITY & BREACH NOTIFICATION

We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256) and secure access controls. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you and the California Attorney General in accordance with Cal. Civ. Code ยง 1798.82.

8. SMS COMMUNICATIONS

If you choose to receive SMS messages from Sano, your mobile phone number will be used only for the purpose of sending requested communications such as login verification codes, account notifications, and service-related messages. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected through this service will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. As described in Section 3, your phone number may be shared with partner gyms for membership creation purposes under a separate consent. SMS consent collected by Sano is not transferred to partner gyms and may not be used by them for independent SMS marketing.
